Politician or Scammer is a trivia and entertainment game based on public information and verifiable sources about people of public relevance. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it.

Who runs the site

The service

The game is free and offered «as is» and «as available», with no warranty of continuity, absolute accuracy or freedom from errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw features or content at any time.

Content and the people featured

Everything shown comes from public sources cited in each question (court rulings, official registers and bodies, Wikidata/Wikimedia and reliable media) and concerns people of public relevance in matters of general interest. The game makes no accusations of its own and passes no judgement on anyone: it reproduces documented facts and links to their source.

The «scammer» category and the «both» label are reserved for people with a documented conviction. Proceedings that have not ended in a final conviction appear only in the open-matters section, labelled with their actual status (under investigation, in court, conviction under appeal, dismissed, acquitted or controversy). The presumption of innocence applies throughout: being investigated or charged is not the same as being guilty, and a dismissal or acquittal means there is no criminal liability.

Acceptable use

You may not use the site to harass, threaten or defame anyone, to scrape its content in bulk, to interfere with its operation or security, or to present the information published here as an accusation of crime beyond what the cited sources say.

Intellectual property

The site's code, design, brand and original text belong to its owner. Photographs belong to their authors and are used under the licence documented in each case (see Copyright). Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Advertising

The site is funded by third-party advertising. We do not control or endorse the products advertised; any relationship arising from an ad is between you and the advertiser.

Corrections, rectification and removal

If you spot an error, use the report form. Requests from the people concerned take priority: we hide the disputed content while we review it, and correct or remove it if the error is confirmed. This does not affect any statutory right of reply or rectification you may have.

We link to third-party sources and sites we do not control; we are not responsible for their content or policies.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any mandatory consumer rights you have.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you act as a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence and to the mandatory rules of your country; otherwise, the parties submit to the courts of the owner's domicile.
