Copyright and image rights

The photos in the game come from sources with a documented licence (mainly Wikimedia Commons and public domain works). Each image stores its origin, licence, author and attribution.

We distinguish between the rights over the photograph and the image rights of the person portrayed. Images are used in the informational context of that person's public activity, as permitted by Article 8.2.a) of Spanish Organic Law 1/1982. When in doubt, the content is flagged for review and is not published.

Takedown requests

If you are a rights holder and believe an image or content is used improperly, send a request through the report form stating the exact URL, the work concerned and evidence of ownership. We hide the disputed content while it is reviewed and reply by email.
